Our Team

These roles include business owners, employees at the farm, market and working remotely, contractors, our bookkeeper, volunteers and more! Through social events and open communication we encourage team members with different roles to connect and find ways to work together effectively.
Our Place in the World
Abundant Acres and the Warehouse market exist within a network of supportive humans that includes our customers, vendors, fellow farmers and our community. None of our work would be possible without the land our business is located on which is unceded Mi’kmaq territory as well as all the non-human beings who we do our best to work alongside including the plants, birds, pollinators, beetles, earthworms and soil organisms.
Creating a Positive Work Environment
At Abundant Acres, we welcome constructive feedback and ideas about how to improve things at the Market or on the farm. We are not perfect and we don’t expect perfection from other people. We love to empower people and encourage them. We love to see people doing their best. We love to see people enjoying the job and taking satisfaction from what they do.
We believe that challenges are often opportunities to improve and learn. When challenges arise, we focus on finding solutions. We know mistakes happen and we seek to create a trusting environment where mistakes can be shared and corrected promptly.

Warehouse Market and Abundant Acres is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
